animal admission

We are proud of the difference our organization has made in the lives of many amazing animals. Read more about them here!

The mission of The Second Chance Fund is "working together to give pets in need a Second Chance." As such, our organization provides veterinary services for animals entered into our program from other organizations such as humane societies or breed rescue groups. The Second Chance Fund also admits stray animals, or extreme hardship cases that are owner surrendered. The animals that are admitted to our program are taken to Lodi, WI for care provided and funded under our direction.  The Second Chance Fund does not finance care, provide money, or have grants available for animals outside of our program.

The Second Chance Fund is specifically looking for cases where a procedure or treatment can make an animal healthy and adoptable. Pets that receive their care through The Second Chance Fund program are then found forever homes through adoption.

guidelines for admission to the second chance fund program:

  1. An application for admission must be completed and submitted to our organization. Completed applications can be submitted directly to Lodi Veterinary Care or submitted via email to info@thesecondchancefund.org.
