Do you see your new family member?

Meet Ace!  Ace is a super sweet, laid back 8 year old Pug that had a tragic event in February.  He was hit by a car and sustained a dislocated hip and badly torn ligaments in his knee, leaving the leg unusable and very painful.  His owners made the very difficult decision to surrender him to the Second Chance Fund so he could receive the extensive care and surgery he needed.

Ace had a procedure to correct his hip dislocation and luckily this procedure went well.  Once his hip was fully healed, he underwent surgery on his knee to correct his ligament damage and re-stabilize his knee joint.   Ace is currently undergoing intense physical therapy and is enjoying his wonderful foster home.

Ace is excited for his new lease on  life after his knee surgery!  He is super playful and loves meeting new friends his walks.  He would love a busy household with other dogs and children, but would be perfectly content being a solo pet as well.  He loves all dogs, cats and people - he just loves everyone!

Ace will remain in foster care until he is healed, but adoption applications are now being taken so he can be placed in his forever home as quickly as possible. If you are interested in adopting Ace, please complete the adoption application and send it to The Second Chance Fund.

I found my forever home!

Animal Adoption

The Second Chance Fund is looking for loving families for the animals who have already received their second chance and are ready to go to their forever home.

The Second Chance Fund is happy to announce that we are no longer taking applications for Zak since he has found his forever home!  Zak continues to improve in his foster home and anxiously awaits his medical clearance so he can  officially join his forever family. Thank you to everyone who was involved in his care and the efforts to find him his new home.
